The West Perth Football Club would like to congratulate the 2 West Perth Players who were recently selected for the WA 1 Team that competed in the State 15's Schoolboys National Carnival in Canberra.
Well done to Jordan Meakins from the Whitford JFC and Will Michell from the Joondalup/Kinross JFC.
It is a great honour to be chosen in a state side, and these boys have worked extremely hard during the trial games and subsequent training sessions to gain selection.
They should also be commended on their performance and attitude during the Carnival. Both performed extremely well to help the WA 1 Team reach the Grand Final of the Carnival. Although they went down to a tough Vic Metro team they should be commended for their efforts. Special mantion goes to Will who was judged the best player for WA in the Grand Final.
We look forward to these 2 boys peforming well for West Perth at the upcoming WAFL 15's Carnival being held in the October school holidays.

Reserves and League presentations will be held in the Premiers Suite at Arena Joondalup from 6pm after the League game. Cash bar will be available. All members welcome.
