FALCONS DOMINANT IN MANDURAH

The League and Colts teams recorded comprehensive victories against Peel on Saturday. Both teams dominated all day to score twenty and nineteen goals respectively. The League team was on from the first bounce with their use of the ball and tackling pressure being of the highest order. They overwhelmed an inexperienced Peel team to extend their lead at each change to run out ninety-two point Read More [+]

Lloyd to debut for Falcons

19-year old Matty Lloyd will make his league debut for West Perth this weekend against Peel Thunder. Reserves

West Perth took on South Fremantle in its first Home Game of the Season, “Ladies Day”, and they were up and ready to ensure it’d be a successful one, by coming out firing from the outset and securing our second straight win of the season with a convincing 36-point win.

With the rucking prowess of second-gamer Cameron Dawson clearing the ball easily to our midfielders, we hit our first goal Read More [+]

The low scores indicate what a tight, and at times, scrappy contest the game was. Goals were at a premium with only one being Read More [+]

Reserves
On a blustery Sunday at Blue Steel Oval the Reserves women finally got to stretch their wings and clasp their talons around some prey.
The team had a blistering start kicking four goals in the first quarter with the breeze. Courtney Collard slotted our first, and with our structures working to move the ball forward and lock it in, three more goals hit the bacon and griddle in quick succession.

West Perth had the best possible start to the season with all three teams recording victories. The Colts were in control all day, the Reserves withstood a strong second half revival and the League showed real grit to overcome a twenty point three quarter time deficit. There was a lot to like about the way all of the teams went about their business and this is a credit to all Read More [+]
