FALCONS IN FOXTEL CUP

The West Perth Falcons will kick off our inaugural Foxtel Cup against Canberra powerhouse, the Ainslie Football Club on Saturday 21st April 2012 at the Blacktown International Sports Park in Sydney.
Ainslie won the ACT AFL premiership in 2010 by defeating the Sydney Swans Reserves team 19.11 (125) to 10.13 (73). Ainslie have long proud and successful history dating back to 1927. With 23 premiership cups in the trophy cabinet they are sure to be a challenge for the WAFL’s oldest and proudest football club in West Perth.
West Perth president Brett Raponi said “this is a fantastic opportunity for our coaches and players to show case themselves on a national stage. The Foxtel Cup will provide unprecedented national exposure for the West Perth Football Club and we look forward to representing the Falcon faithful and in fact the state of WA to the best of our ability.”
For all Falcon fans, you won’t have to miss a minute of the action with game being televised live on the new Fox Footy channel from 9am WST.
