Dust off those footy boots it’s time to hit our community parks and ovals for the 2010 Junior Football season. In 2010 Junior Football (Australian Rules) ranks are confidently expecting in excess of 5000 smiling faces to queue up at local clubs to sign on for the 2010 season.

New to footy… or new to Australia- come and give the great Aussie Game a try! The debate will always exist as to whether to play Australian Rules Football (AFL) or Soccer. Now is your chance to find out- play football the Aussie way!

Sunday 21st February will see the West Perth District’s 9 Local Junior Clubs opening their doors to recruit footy players aged 5years – 17 years. 

West Perth District Manager Andrew Ridley said “this is the biggest registration day of our season with all junior clubs opening their doors, many hosting demonstrations and come and try activities.

The West Perth District has a rapidly expanding population and this day proves an exciting opportunity for all local kids to head to their local club to give the great game of Australian Rules Football a try.

Many local clubs will be visited by West Perth Football Club Players and Colts on the day to provide juniors with activities, to sign autographs and answer questions.
